"This is one of my early snaps taken with a cheap 'Kodak Instamatic' camera, at a stopover in Chicago. We were on our way to (or back from) Los Angeles on the 1973 US tour. David is wearing an outfit by the Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto whose name is emblazoned boldly in the gold lettering. The bold colours contrast brilliantly with David's make-up free, pale, eyebrow-less, complexion. PLEASE NOTE: as stated above, this snap was taken with a Kodak Instamatic camera, so larger prints may appear less sharp." - Geoff MacCormack
