Sarah is a passionate weaver and dedicated spinner based in the heart of North Essex, England. Her journey into fibre arts began in 2012, when she discovered the craft of hand-spinning yarn and began experimenting with dyeing wool tops and yarn.
Over time, her practice evolved, and she now focuses exclusively on handweaving, creating distinctive, handcrafted pieces that reflect her appreciation for tradition, texture and creative expression.
Her palette draws on neutral and earthy tones — greens, browns and greys inspired by the hedgerows — alongside occasional accents of warm orange and vibrant purple. She works exclusively with responsibly sourced, non-superwash, nylon-free wool, choosing natural fibres of the highest quality as the foundation of her practice.
