Shani Wray-Jenkins exhibiting from 8th – 22nd August
Inntroducing still life abstract artist Shani Wray-Jenkins as the second artist in our Featured Artist Window in The Gallery.
Shani’s paintings pop with vibrant colours, expressive brushwork and a beautiful sense of atmosphere. Her work finds inspiration in the ‘poetry of ordinary things’, transforming familiar objects and everyday moments into something unexpected and uplifting.
After more than 30 years working internationally in fashion and interior design, Shani returned to painting in 2020. Now based in Lincolnshire, she works from her home studio, creating contemporary still life and floral paintings primarily in acrylic, often incorporating collage, oil pastel and charcoal to build texture, depth and movement.
